Teen novel. Slight implied violence, no gory scenes, no sexual content, only suggestions that a woman/ghost can have an impact on a male. Themes of God, Good, Evil. Moralistic and uses poems for spells. Part of a series. In this particular book you have an unbeliever (in God, Devil, Good, Bad, and magic) that is learning his words, his actions have consequences for himself and others. C Stasheff and Piers Anthony are both favorites from this genre and time period. Both offer series that allow you to see growth in the characters. I read the original paperback series when they came out. This is not my favorite book of the series, but still enjoyable.Product details

Witch Doctor (Wizard in Rhyme, Book 3) ; what you would expect from a used book and great if you like the author and series

Great book, Great series. Characters are lovable.
The plots are a little formulaic; hero, sidekick, heroic monster, damsel in distress in a quest to defeat evil. But the world in which it happens is amazing in its detail.
Very happy. Great condition.
the above ebook by Christopher Stasheff is a terrific read, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is into SC-FI as I am, I cant wait for more of his books to be online, Thanks Cheryl
Interesting perspective using 'real' medieval religion. Like the poetry, but sometimes the characters can seem a little 'hemmed in.' Good series though.
One of a series, every book in this series has been better than the last. Hope he comes out with another, sometime soon. The character buildup is superb. AND, the philosophy elements make it even more fun... Poor Saul is in for bad times...<chuckle>
